A clear polyurethane topcoat for luxury yacht interiors can ensure the longevity of your boat. Luxury yacht Eclipse was coated with MIROTHANE PU polyurethane back in 2005. In 2009, the yacht was struck by lightning and sustained damages. The interior was then refitted and coated with MIROTHANE PU 5555 Clear Polyurethane.

One of the best features of the MIROTHANE PU 5555 Clear Polyurethane is its excellent resistance to chemicals and water. It is perfect for in-service environments that are demanding, such as bar tops, reception desks, bathroom units, and work surfaces. It has very low yellowing and can be used on light-coloured veneers and wood. The MIROTHANE PU 5555 Clear Polyurethane is available in full gloss, semi gloss, and satin finishes.

The MIROTHANE PU 5650 Pigmented Topcoat was also used for Eclipse. This fast-curing polyurethane topcoat can be used on plastic, metal glass, melamine, MDF, and wood with the right primer or undercoat.
