Australian Embassy in Bangkok, Thailand

Mirotone provided the surface coatings for interior application at the Australian Embassy in Thailand. This building perfectly encapsulates the ties between the two countries, showcasing traditional Thai brickwork and Australian scenery inspirations.

The very colour of the building is reminiscent of the central Australian deserts while the curved organic forms within the complex are influenced by the natural landscape of the Oceanian country. Most of the materials for the property were sourced from North Queensland and Western Australia's Pilbara Region, such as the Spotted Gum and Blackbutt timber.
