If you have had insulation fitted prior to November 2009 under the government rebate scheme, your installer was not required to install downlight covers, leaving your house with inadequate insulation coverage and still be susceptible to fire, due to the downlights still being exposed to foreign matter build up in your roof space, this is the main cause of fires occurring within the roof space, together with insulation being laid over downlights and downlight covers.

• Two identical parts, so no messing about trying to find matching piece, making them virtually idiot proof.
• A slotted cut out is provided to feed the wire through, therefore no disconnection of wiring is necessary.
• The elongated slot on the bottom (90mm x 130mm) accommodates most sizes of downlights and also allows the cover to be fitted close to the joists.
• Ventilation holes help to prevent excessive build up of heat.
• This unique design allows for the transformer, to sit on its own supports, on either side, saving the installer Time and Money.
• No tools required, one size fits most downlights currently available.
