Unveiling the New CHAD Building Facade: A Case Study

To reflect how far CHAD has come in the industry, they recently gave their main factory a new makeover. What was once an old, dated front is now a vibrant, contemporary facade - an epitome of CHAD's craft and longevity. The professional tradesmen of CHAD enlisted no less than their world-class products for the project to achieve flawless, long-lasting results.

Fine design starts with a blank canvas. Before the application of facade solutions, CHAD removed all traces of old signage and other foreign matter that could serve as bondage breakers.

CHAD Surface Coatings Pro Render, which contains more polymer glue giving it excellent adhesion and flexibility, was the perfect render to apply as two coats to the existing painted surface to make it level and plumb. One (1) coat of CHAD Surface Pro Texture was then applied to achieve a sleek, polished facade. The exterior texture coating comes in fine, medium or coarse marble bases. The application can be done using a trowel or spray equipment. Available in white and clear base tints, CHAD Surface Coatings Texture adheres to all rendered substrates, including primed surfaces. The coverage of a 15L pail is 10m2 to 14m2.

Painting CHAD Factory Facade

CHAD Surface Coatings Render Paint was used as the final top coat sealer of CHAD Surface Coatings Texture. CHAD applied two (2) coats of the acrylic-based external render paint to provide a superior low-sheen finish. The team employed CHAD's full-colour tinting services to complement the modern design of the facade. CHAD Surface Coatings Render Paint will protect the facade from harsh weather elements in the long run. Compatible with all masonry and rendered surfaces, the external render paint will preserve the mint condition of the coating system - no maintenance needed! CHAD Surface Coatings Render paint is available in 15L pails for a coverage of 120m2. Coverage may vary with the grade of the texture, external render paint and surface.

CHAD Oakleigh Victoria

After application of the texture coating and external render paint, CHAD installed battens to the facades, including Metallic Grey Alucobond. The team subscribed to Glenbrae Signs services for the supply of all the new signage, providing the new face of CHAD's main factory along 1366 North Road in the suburb of Oakleigh South in Victoria.
