ATDC recently completed a custom bifold door installation for yd. at Caneland Central in Mackay, demonstrating its ability to deliver tailored security systems for projects across Australia, including remote regional locations.

The bifold door measures approximately 5500mm wide by 3600mm high and features 300mm stacking panels with transparent polycarbonate infills and a clear anodised finish. Designed to follow the shopfront geometry, the system incorporates a 90 degree curve over a 600mm radius, allowing the closure to integrate seamlessly with the tenancy design.

A series of intermediate up/down locking mechanisms eliminates the need for a floor track, supporting unobstructed access and a cleaner finish. Managed by LSC Shopfitting, the installation highlights the suitability of custom-engineered bifold doors for contemporary retail environments requiring both security and architectural flexibility.
