Leading motorcycle retailer, Bikebiz, has installed heavy duty retractable security doors at its renovated Guildford store in Sydney. This follows the recent installation of retractable security doors by another leading motorcycle retailer, Fraser Motorcycles at its William St Sydney store.

BikeBiz is Australia's largest Yamaha motorcycle dealer. It also sells other world renowned motorcycle brands such as Kawasaki, Suzuki, Aprilia, Triumph, Ducati, Harley Davidson and many more.

Motorcycles are highly prized items and with their expensive price tags, motorcycle retailers selling such well known brands take their security seriously.

The extremely large glass shopfront expanse which had to be secured at BikeBiz presented ATDC with a few challenges none more so than concealing the retractable doors during trading hours so as not to obstruct the view from outside of the prized merchandise on display on the showroom floor.

ATDC's solution entailed employing two different but equally effective stack minimization techniques. One one side of the shopfront ATDC installed its retractable doors in a curved configuration so that the side stack of the doors did not protrude into the shopfront. On the other end of the shopfront ATDC ran the doors on a parallel top tracking mechanism to minimize the side compaction of the gates at that end.

In this innovative way ATDC provided a security system to BikeBiz's shopfront that is formidable by night but invisible by day-a solution every retailer strives for.
