3M Safety, home of the DBI-SALA® and PROTECTA® brands of fall protection equipment has announced the launch of their new Rebel™ Retrieval Self Retracting Lifeline (SRL).

The new retrieval SRL by Protecta® adds versatility and convenience to the trusted Rebel™ self retracting lifeline range. This new model incorporates fall arrest and a built-in emergency retrieval winch for rescue, making it a versatile solution for many job sites. "Designed for confined space applications, the Rebel™ Retrieval self retracting lifeline is built to last providing an economical fall protection solution without compromising performance or safety," said Rick Millar, Technical Manager for 3M Safety, Australia and New Zealand.

The 3-Way SRL features a built-in emergency retrieval winch, rugged aluminium housing, an ergonomic carrying handle that makes transportation to and from the job site easy, a 140kg user capacity and a robust design ensuring longevity. Designed with the worker in mind, the retrieval SRL also includes an impact indicator to ensure the equipment has not been involved in a fall. A top anchorage swivel holds the SRL in line with the worker's motion, allowing for ease of movement and increased mobility. The optional mounting bracket ensures the unit is easily integrated with a Protecta® AM100 tripod for a complete confined space solution.
