What is Wavebar® High-Performance Flexible Noise Barrier?

The high-performance flexible noise barrier, Wavebar® is designed to be dense, thin, flexible, strong, and resistant to long-term wear and tear. These characteristics give the acoustic product a high acoustic transmission loss that varies with the weight ranges of each acoustic insulation sheet.

The flexible acoustic insulation sheet can be cut and applied around pipes, ducts, and cables. Wavebar® is a non-toxic, and free from lead or odour-causing oils and bitumen. In addition, it can also withstand most chemicals, solvents, and petrol.

Wavebar® is designed to specifically meet the requirements for noise reduction suitable for residential, commercial, industrial, and automotive applications. In action, the high-performance flexible noise barrier blocks the transmission of sound that often occurs in the coincidence of dip resonance. This coincidence of dip resonance is typically found on stiff lightweight panel constructions like plasterboard, drywall, plywood, and hollow core walls.
