Bespoke Aluminium Solution for Northcliffe Dairy with Sapphire Image: Peter Bennetts. Sapphire are proud to have been involved in the major expansion of this Northcliffe dairy. Designed by Bosske Architecture, the Bannister Downs Dairy Creamery facilitates milking, processing, and dispatch of dairy products plus staff and guest areas. The project resulted in an architecturally spectacular building that reinforces a premium brand and without compromise of human or animal health or wellbeing. The dairy facility utilises aluminium facades that pay homage to the rich agricultural history of the site with utilitarian appeal. The building sweeps across a hilltop plateau, boasts the unity of the admittance of people, cattle, and heavy vehicles despite their unique points of entry, and formally disguises the ordinarily haphazard barn or shed landscape.
