Trellis Door Prevents Ramraid from The Australian Trellis Door Company

Thieves abandon car in failed ramraid.

Thieves made a failed attempt at a ramraid on a Carrara BWS early this morning, abandoning the car when it didn't smash through a second security screen.

POLICE are hunting a group of thieves whose failed attempt at ramraiding a Carrara bottle shop early this morning forced them to abandon their car.

At about 3.30am, a small Hyundai hatchback was driven through bollards and a glass window at a BWS store on Manchester Road.

A secondary security screen at the premises remained intact and the offenders were unable to gain access to the store.

The male offenders fled the scene leaving the vehicle where they had driven it into the store.

Nothing was stolen in the attempted break in.
