Firefly Plus 60 Lightweight BAL-FZ Wall System from FIREFLY

FIREFLY Cavity Fire Barriers developed primarily for the Construction Industry are a flexible, lightweight and easy to install solution to all Compartmentation requirements, traditionally serviced by the use of plasterboard barriers in the hidden voids of a building.

In accordance with AS3959-2009, the wall system must either be tested to AS1530.8.2 or alternatively a system with an FRL-/30/30 WHEN TESTED FROM OUTSIDE IN. Our Plus 60 has an FRL-/60/30 WHEN TESTED FROM OUTSIDE IN, so comfortably complies with this standard for area's designated as BAL-FZ.

Simply wrap the outside of your house frame (steel or timber) with out Plus 60 and overclad with a product deemed to be non-combustable under BCA, ie fibre cement sheet or custom orb.
