All new socks for workers - no smell, anti-fungal, fire resistant

Colan Australia and Metis Technologies have developed breakthrough work and ski socks from Metis' PCA fibre that is inherently anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and fire resistant.

The socks are comfortable, need not be washed, will assist with treatment of tinea and other fungal infections. As well they will relieve eczema and other itches.

The PCA fibre is also used in Colan's personal fire protection blankets and while trialling socks for the firies we found the additional attributes. They are really comfortable too. So now you can wear your socks for months without washing them even in the heat of summer. Just air them overnight and they will be as new in the morning. If you have to you can wash them - the attributes will not wash out as it is in the fibre - but there is no need. We have plenty of trial results from roofers, hikers and runners, all very much saying the socks are amazing.

Like Ford they only come in black at the moment with other colours coming in 2018.

The same fibre can be used in Fire Resistant insulation, and in other areas that need anti-fungal or anti-bacterial materials. With the increased fire standards, this fibre may be just what you need.
