LED Catenary Luminaires from WE-EF![]() Flexible problem-solvers: WE-EF RFS500 LED catenary luminaires WE-EF RFS500 LED catenary luminaires can be centrally installed above streets, footpaths, alleyways or even large public spaces to provide optimal illumination. They are particularly effective problem-solvers in historical settings. First, they provide efficient lighting even in areas that are difficult to access, such as tight, narrow backstreets and awkward, angular spaces. In addition, their discreet design allows them to blend into the environment without overwhelming it or 'stealing the show', whether in small historic towns or in modern metropolitan areas. The daytime appearance of the luminaires also plays a role, as they form an important part of the urban landscape. Not least, RFS500 LED catenary luminaires can also be put to use for specific architectural tasks, such as marking pathways through a city, as shown by their recent instalment in the newly-built Belfort-Montbéliar d TGV rail station, France.
The RFS500 LED series is available in two sizes with nominal wattages up to 96 W, achieving up to 11,059 nominal lumens in colour temperatures of 3000 and 4000 K. The RFS500 series features the WE-EF OLC® One LED Concept (with multi-layer technology) as well as [S60], [S65] and [S70] lenses for asymmetric 'side throw' light distribution.
