Rested Metal Style Paint from Painted Earth

Murobond Rust Paint is a new product from Painted Earth that can create an authentic rusted surface on any paintable substrate. This advanced product can be applied to anything from wood to stone to give it an old, weathered look.

Rust Paint Clear Final Coat makes the surface washable. It is a 3-step process where the base paint needs at least 3 hours to dry. Apply two coats of the Base Paint generously with a brush or roller. When the second coat is nearly dry, apply one coat of the Finish Paint by brush. This begins the rusting process. When it has rusted as much as you want it to, use the Rust Paint Clear.

Rust Paint has an authentic and dramatic rusted metal appearance. It is excellent for most surfaces but not recommended on steel as the rusting process may affect the structural integrity of the steel.
