Anodised Bridge Panels by Universal Anodisers Universal Anodisers has been involved in numerous projects in Australia, including civil works. One of their notable works is providing anodised bridge panels located over Anzac Parade. The NSW government built a pedestrian and cycle bridge at the Moore Park precinct. The six-metre-wide bridge was designed with transport and traffic factors, urban design, visual amenities, heritage, and impact on trees and parklands in mind. The panels feature a perforated pattern, which was designed by Hassell Architects. Anodisation of these aluminium panels was done by Universal Anodisers; the result was a metallic lustre that won't denigrate over time. Anodisation of metals is not just for aesthetic appeal, it also offers advantages like making the bridge panels easier to maintain and also more durable. The process of anodising is safe and it produces an anodised finish that is non-toxic and chemically stable. Apart from the anodised bridge panels, you can check out other successful projects of Universal Anodisers at www.universalanodisers.com.au.
