Movable Acoustic Walls for Meeting Areas from Bildspec.

The Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) is a national, charitable, health organisation delivering primary healthcare and 24-hour emergency services for those who live in rural and remote Australia.

Bildspec has installed 3 operable walls to the main meeting areas at RFDS's Sydney Head Office. This includes one Series100 Rw49-rated solid, and two Konnect double-glazed moveable acoustic walls, all with bottom mechanical retracting seals.

These three movable acoustic walls have been designed by builder/designer PMG Group, as an intersecting wall system to give the clients the ability to have two medium-sized boardrooms, one large boardroom, or a combined presentation space including the adjacent lounge area (once all walls have been retracted and fully opened). An acoustic rating of Rw49 was chosen to give the RFDS the required privacy required for these rooms.
