Versiclad were engaged by Woollam Constructions, the main grandstand builders, to manufacture the almost 1400m2 of insulated roofing panels needed to cover the new Stadium Mackay in north Queensland. Utilizing up to 8.15m long panels of Double Corrolink roofing, Versiclad dispatched the initial shipment only 2 weeks after order approval. The manufacturing and transportation of the panels from western Sydney to north Queensland was also achieved at a more economical cost than other manufacturers.

With the seats now being installed, and the lighting and scoreboard in place, Mackay locals hope to see their first rugby league game there before the end of June.
