Mirotone did an excellent job in the timber water based coating application at the Supreme Court of Wellington. Completed in 2011, the Supreme Court Building was a project of Ferndale Furniture Ltd and Copper Furniture and Joinery.

The architects of the project were required to meet a Green Star Rating to acquire a Sustainability Certificate for the building. Mirotone was able to help achieve this requirement with the MIROTEC WB, which has a very low VOC content.

The specific products used for the geodetic-designed Supreme Court were the MIROTEC WB 8060 Topcoat and the MIROTEC WB 8022 Sealer. Both products have low yellowing, which retained the Victorian Ash Timber used in the Supreme Court Library. They are also free from chemicals including formaldehyde, isocyanate, and phthalate. What's more, the MIROTEC WB products are easy to apply.
