Installed across sections of the precinct after hours, the custom-built barrier system provided approximately 35 metres of secure temporary screening. Designed with a tightly interwoven heavy-duty mesh infill and narrow 65mm pitch, the barriers help restrict reach-through access while discouraging climbing attempts in high-traffic public environments.

The system is designed to comply with relevant Australian Standards for Temporary Fencing and Hoardings, including Dynamic Impact, simulated climbing and no foothold requirements. The barriers also support WHS and OH&S compliance and can incorporate keyless emergency egress functionality aligned with relevant BCA provisions.
