Gainsborough Launches New Enhanced Mortice Lock

Created for its 2000 and 3000 Series ranges, the new Gainsborough Mortice Lock includes several new features from the original version, adding to its strength and functionality, without the extra price tag.

The new Mortice lock features a robust locking mechanism to give peace of mind. It is also fully compliant to AS 4145.2 1993 Part 2 mechanical locksets standard, achieving an S2 rating for physical security and a D3 rating for durability. In addition, the 3000 series is fire rated on selected cores* in accordance with AS 1905.1 Part 2 fire resistant doors.

Unlike similar locks on the Australian market, the enhanced Gainsborough Mortice Lock 2000 and 3000 Series, features the oval cylinder below the handle, creating a sophisticated security solution with European flair.

Creating variety to any front door, the 2000 and 3000 series offer many different lock functions including office lock, stair lock, anti lockout/kick off (now available on both wide and narrow stile), entrance lock, entrance and office lock, and classroom; making it suitable for a range of applications including educational facilities, healthcare, aged care, multi-residential buildings and offices.
