Hope Anglican Church in Leppington in South-West Sydney has a brand-new building on a Greenfield site, designed by NBRS and built by Reitsma Constructions. Di Emme Creative Solutions supplied and installed the weathered Corten steel elements. Cut and folded Corten pieces were used as cladding for the external columns, and individually cut letters for signage at the entry. All requirements including backing frames and installation methodology were carefully considered to allow installation towards the end of the builder's program. The weathering steel adds a welcoming rustic dimension to the modern place of worship.
