Machine Upgrades to the Silverwater Factory of Dale Glass IndustriesEstablished in 1974 by Cecil Dale and Joseph Glass with humble roots of producing from an old boat shed in Balmain Sydney, Dale Glass Industries has grown today to become Australia's leading manufacturer and wholesaler of glue-laminated solid timber (DGI Glulam). DGI's successful full fabrication of Glulam products is made possible through their state-of-the-art, specialised joinery and finishing facilities. And in line with their commitment to high-quality Glulam products, Dale Glass Industries stepped up further as they recently upgraded their machines at DGI's Silverwater Factory in NSW.
Dale Glass Industries stocks over 25 species of both structural and decorative glulam suited for a wide range of domestic and commercial applications. And with their main distribution centre in Sydney, DGI continues to successfully operate and distribute to all Australian states and territories. DGI Glulam products are manufactured to meet strict Australian Standard quality controls, including industry third-party Glued Laminated Timber Associations of Australia (GLTAA), to ensure guaranteed and graded raw materials and products that perform to set requirements. Not least, Dale Glass Industries values sustainability and only uses timber sourced from managed forested and certified environments for its manufacture of DGI Glulam products.
