NSW Black Book Launch for Exterior Luminaires from WE-EF![]()
An awards entries exhibition, a book launch - or a house party? Over 180 engineers, lighting professionals and AILA (Australian Institute of Landscape Architects) guests ignored the rain and cold on a Wednesday night to see 2017 AILA NSW awards entries and witness the Sydney launch of the WE-EF's most unexpected publication - the Black Book. Following the theme of the night "An Idea is Like Magic" as set by the WE-EF's Black Book, the evening promised to be magical and it certainly was. From 6pm on the 28th June House 48, Kensington Street in Chippendale was transformed into a labyrinth. Guests climbed stairs to wonder through museum-like rooms and view this year's project entries. Downstairs in the glassed court yard Spice Ally served food, DJ GOLDHEIST looked after the atmosphere and a real magician wowed the crowds. At 7.30pm the guests were greeted by the incoming AILA NSW President Mark Tyrrell and the WE-EF's magical Black Book prize was drawn.
