The Brisbane International Cycle Park at Murarrie is Queensland's premier cycling facility and a key Brisbane sporting project. Whilst not part of the 2032 Olympic precinct, it is intended to provide a needed facility to support athlete development in the lead up to the event. Developed by Brisbane City Council, the 34-hectare precinct features a 1.17 km international-standard criterium track, a 1.48 km road cycling course, a 500 m inline skating circuit, a modern two-storey clubhouse and supporting infrastructure, creating a world-class destination for elite athletes, community cycling and future generations of riders.

Working alongside Epoca Constructions as the principal builder and CB Energy as the electrical contractor, Mascot Engineering supplied a range of precast infrastructure products to support the project's underground electrical network.

Mascot supplied lightweight GRC Cable Pits fitted with heavy-duty Class D cast iron concrete infill access covers, providing a durable solution that simplified handling and installation across the site. In addition, Class B and D Galvanised Mild Steel (GMS) Access Covers were supplied to provide safe, reliable access to underground electrical services throughout the project.

With future stages planned to include facilities such as a learn-to-ride circuit, BMX pump track and additional recreational infrastructure, the Brisbane International Cycle Park has been designed to support both high-performance sport and community participation well beyond the Brisbane 2032 Games.
