Suspension Architecture Sculpture with Ronstan![]() Ronstan Suspension Architecture Sculpture. Hanging at the Sacramento Airport is a suspension architecture sculpture with the help of Ronstan. Art commissions and projects are almost always custom ones and require innovative techniques and unique solutions. Artist Lawrence Argent contacted Kreysler & Associates who then turned to Ronstan to get help in realising the vision of a piece that will bring forth the imagination of visitors and travellers. The art installation "Leap" features a red rabbit that is 56 feet long and is made out of aluminium. It can be found at Sacramento Airport's atrium in Terminal B. The rabbit's weight is borne by ACS2 Stainless Steel Cables, which were provided by Ronstan. These cables also gave the illusion of invisibility, making it appear the rabbit is suspended in mid-air.
Multiple cables with specific measurements were required for this suspension architecture sculpture. To learn the fine details of this project and Ronstan's contribution, read all about it at www.ronstantensilearch.com.
