WE-EF introduces the VLR100 series - linear lighting at the highest level

In addition to the comprehensive range of luminaires for lighting streets, footpaths and public spaces, WE-EF has a wide range of luminaires for architectural lighting requirements. Now the VLR100 takes the spotlight, as this new linear wallwasher series joins the WE-EF product range.

The European headquarters of Bloomberg L.P. - designed by Foster + Partners - is set to become one of the most eye-catching buildings in London's Walbrook Square. Currently under construction, the facade will feature impressive illumination effects provided by WE-EF's new VLR100 linear wallwasher, surface mounted luminaires

Specially developed for this project in co-operation with New York lighting design firm Tillotson Design Associates, the VLR luminaire posed particular challenges for the design engineers at WE-EF. In addition to the usual high degree of protection for outdoor use (IP67 rated), the luminaires also required very different dimensions and technology (for example, customised to the particular geometry of the building).
