SUPAMICRO Sustainable Acoustic Panels at Sarjeant Gallery in New Zealand The Sarjeant Gallery in Whanganui, New Zealand, has become the first project in the country to feature SUPAWOOD's innovative SUPAMICRO sustainable acoustic panels. Designed by Warren and Mahoney's Wellington team, the panels were installed in the gallery's cafe' and gift shop by Rob O'Keeffe Joinery. This project showcases the panels' cutting-edge micro-perforation technology alongside a stunning Midnight Black Natural Timber Veneer finish. SUPAMICRO sets a new standard for acoustic performance without sacrificing aesthetics. Unlike traditional acoustic solutions with visible perforations, its micro-perforations are virtually invisible, allowing the natural beauty of the woodgrain to take centre stage. Rob O'Keeffe, who led the installation, shared: "Supawood worked hard to get what we needed. We are very happy with the product. The project looks awesome." Benefits of SUPAMICRO:
The Sarjeant Gallery project exemplifies how architects can prioritize both functionality and aesthetics, setting a benchmark for future designs.
