Visually Appealing Curved Folding Commercial Doors by ATDC.

ATDC has installed its visually appealing commercial S08 curved folding security door to secure the curved servery counters to the University Of Southern Queensland's Ipswich Campus Cafe near Brisbane.

Project Design Specifications

Two (2) custom-engineered curved commercial folding doors were supplied on this architect-specified project with special radius curves fabricated to traverse the contours of these apertures. Security was achieved through a series of intermediate up/down locks which facilitate seamless lock-up without the need for any removable floor track. Whilst a continuous overhead support beam was required to attach the 40mm x 40mm extruded heavy-duty top track, virtually no headroom clearance requirement was needed. This is a major advantage as compared to the substantial headroom which is required to install roller shutters.

Specifying Architect

The Specifying architect for the project was Wilson Architects based in Spring Hill. Project managers and builders were Newstead-based Future Fitouts QLD Pty Ltd

Colour range

The doors installed on this project were supplied in a standard black satin Powdercoated finish.

Warranty

A 12-month warranty against defective materials and workmanship applies
