Rolling Shutters Secure Kitchen Counter at Mainview Kindergarten from ATDC

ATDC recently installed its high-quality rolling shutters to secure the kitchen counter at Mainview Kindergarten in Truganina, Victoria, near Melbourne. These shutters are an ideal solution for securing low-height countertops, serveries, benchtops, and reception counters, providing both safety and functionality.

The aluminium extruded rolling shutters were manually operated with a spring counterbalance system, and installed with a slimline overhead pelmet box that concealed the roll, resulting in a neat and compact installation. The compact design of the pelmet box ensured that the already limited countertop opening height was not impeded. A key lockable bottom rail was added to enhance security and improve access control. The curtain infill used for this powder-coated shutter featured transparent clear polycarbonate, offering durability and visibility.

The installation was managed by Harris HMC Interiors, based in North Melbourne, and the project came with a 12-month warranty against defective materials and workmanship.
