Perforated Fibre Cement Panels for Acoustic Design by Keystone Linings Keystone Linings supplied its 9mm Key-Endura Perforated Fibre Cement (FC) Panels for the award-winning Parramatta Aquatic Centre, delivered by Lipman and designed in collaboration with Andrew Burges Architects, Grimshaw Architects and McGregor Coxall. The project required a lining solution that could meet strict architectural and environmental performance criteria while supporting a refined, continuous interior design language across large-scale aquatic spaces. Key-Endura is manufactured from uniquely perforated fibre cement sheet, offering durability, moisture resistance and long-term dimensional stability in demanding environments. For this project, a custom KP3/40/20 perforation pattern was developed to achieve a seamless flow effect, with borders carefully aligned to maintain visual continuity across ceilings and wall applications. The system is suited to internal acoustic walls and partitions, eaves linings, fire-rated and party walls, office ceilings, and high-traffic public amenities including pools, clubs and hospitality spaces.
