Fibre Cement Panels for Adaptable Learning Spaces by Keystone Linings

The redevelopment of the former UTS Ku-ring-gai campus into Lindfield Learning Village created a contemporary K-12 education environment while retaining and adapting the qualities of the existing site. Designed by DesignInc Sydney in collaboration with Lacoste+Stevenson, the project required interior finishes capable of supporting a varied architectural vision across the transformed campus.

Keystone Linings supplied Key-Endura solid and perforated fibre cement panels for the project. Painted on site, the panels provided a flexible finish that could be integrated across diverse spaces while contributing to the durability and visual consistency required in a busy learning environment. Key-Endura panels are designed for wall, ceiling and wet-area applications, with solid and perforated options available for different performance and design requirements.

The adaptive reuse project received the 2019 Master Builders Association of NSW Excellence in Construction Award for Adaptive Re-use and a commendation in the 2020 Learning Environments Australasia Awards.
