Installation tips for Floating over Timber or Concrete sub-floor:

The concrete slab must be structurally sound, dry (no more than 5.5% moisture content within the slab), level (no more than a 3mm deviation within a 3 metre radius and clean of adhesives, paint, dust etc.

2-3mm foam underlay with moisture barrier is required when installing a minimum of 5-8mm gap is required between wall or wall skirts and flooring.

Cross-Link PVA is required to glue all sides and ends of each board. NOTE: do not use standard PVA glue as this can cause the floor to squeak.

There are three ways you can finish your floor around the walls to hide the gap that is required for expansion, wall skirts over the top of the floor, caulking around the perimeter or quad.
