Serving South-east Queensland's popular Gold Coast region, the Gold Coast Airport is Australia's fastest growing airport and the nation's 7th busiest, with over 5 million passengers passing through the terminal each year.

Costing more than $100 million, the Gold Coast Airport Terminal Redevelopment Project has seen the terminal more than double in size with the addition of a new international terminal, additional retail, duty-free and food/beverage outlets and expanded domestic check-in, arrives and departures facilities. As part of the redevelopment a contract was awarded to lay tiles throughout more than 13,750m2 of the new terminal.

A number of PCI products were selected for the project, including PCI Nanoflott, PCI Rapidflott, PCI Durafug NT and PCI Nanofug. Developed and manufactured in Germany, and distributed exclusively by BASF Construction Chemicals, PCI products have gained an enviable reputation for performance and quality and have been widely considered the product of choice for tiling professionals throughout Europe, Asia and the USA.
