Rockhampton North Special School, part of Education Queensland, recently underwent a significant renovation designed by dbARCH. The project aimed to create additional classroom space for students with complex needs, focusing on tailored, individualised programs. At the core of this transformation were SUPAWOOD's timber lining products, specifically their Blackbutt SUPAFINISH and SUPACOUSTIC panels.

These timber products played a crucial role in creating a warm, natural ambience within the school. The use of biophilic design principles, incorporating natural materials like timber, has been shown to enhance student focus and create productive learning environments.
