School Passive Ventilation Systems from Unique Window Services

The Anglican Church Grammar School is one of Brisbane's most respected private boys schools, the sporting programs they offer are of the highest standard. To allow for these programs to be fulfilled the facilities they are working with and playing on need to be of an equal standard.

The passive ventilation systems incorporated into this design allow the students to use the courts all year round while saving the school the cost of mechanically cooling the entire structure. Using outside air to cool the internal space maximizes the thermal comfort levels.

To ensure the easy operation of the louvred systems a central control panel was installed, the display is clear and concise for instant recognition of desired operation.

For the safety of the students and the mechanics involved, netting was incorporated into the design on the inside of the louvres. These controls have been incorporated into a number of schools across the state as the reliability is second to none.
