Bildspec Series 100 operable walls have been installed at Diversified's new North Sydney office fit out (the fit out undertaken by Sheldon Commercial Interiors). Series100 Rw49, side-stacking, moveable acoustic walls were installed between the kitchen and the main meeting area.

The kitchen area is a large area which can accommodate a wide range of functions. The custom folding doors allow the ability to create a larger space if required, for multiple uses and where acoustic control can be maintained, or allow it to be used concurrently while the adjacent meeting room is in use.

The wall is clad in Woven Image Echopanel, with additional vitreous enamel magnetic whiteboards installed to the meeting room side. Bildspec's operable movable walls are often utilised in Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane to allow clients greater flexibility with their office spaces. This is typically through the creation of meeting rooms, board rooms, breakout rooms, and multipurpose break out spaces. These operable walls offer each application varying acoustic properties, that are not only fit for purpose but also highly attractive and user friendly.

One space can be turned into multiple, smaller spaces, whether it is turning a large open plan area into a series of meeting rooms, or sectioning off rest, eat, or play areas away from the busy working environment. Custom folding doors allow a limited transfer of sound from the external office into the smaller individual space.

Customers can choose between glass or a combination of multiple solid materials including timber veneers, high pressure laminates, 2-pack polyurethane, colour back glass, and fabrics face finishes. The choice depends on the look, feel, and acoustic environment you are trying to create in the office.
