Futuristic Mosaics at Dubai Design Week 2021 by TREND Group

TREND Group partners with Kristina Zanic and THG Paris at Dubai Design Week 2021

TREND Middle East was pleased to participate in Dubai Design Week 2021 with futuristic and interactive installations in collaboration with Kristina Zanic Design Consultants and THG Paris. The 7th edition of the annual week-long festival celebrating design and creativity in the UAE took place in the Dubai Design District from November 8-13. Regenerative architecture and restorative design to reduce human impact on the planet were among the central themes of this year's show. Here's a little glimpse at our displays.

Placed at the entrance of the Dubai Design District, Stomp Bit used different TREND mosaics to reproduce an intricate visual tribute to the earth's natural rhythms (pictured above). The concept designed by Kristina Zanic promoted the theme of environmental sustainability by creating an interactive space hosting human interactions and emotions. The design aimed to show the flexibility of working with mosaics to create intricate and nuanced patterns for wall and floor finishes.

The Shuttle was inspired by life's fast pace. The futuristic installation developed by Kristina Zanic at the showroom entrance leveraged a wide selection of TREND's finest materials - from gold mosaic tiles to backlit etherium® By E-Stone engineered stone. Combined, the exhibition transported visitors into a mysterious extraterrestrial dimension. The installation embodied the infinite design possibilities offered by TREND's unique products.
