This sliding tie establishes a vertical control gap of up to 40mm, allowing for vertical and in-plane movement caused by thermal expansion, shrinkage, or differential settlement. At the same time, it secures masonry panels against lateral wind loads, helping prevent cracking, distortion, and internal stress build-up over the life of the building. A built-in de-bonding slide mechanism absorbs movement between adjoining elements, ensuring flexibility without compromising structural integrity.

Suitable for use in clay brick and blockwork, the Vertical Control Gap Tie functions effectively as a wall starter and is adaptable to a wide range of applications.
