How to Manage Case Note Types for NDIS and Home Care with CareVision

Within CareVision, you can create case note types that are useful for categorising notes and information on a client profile. Here is a simple guide on how to manage case note types for NDIS participants and Home Care clients.

Case note types are important because it helps you manage access information about a client, ensuring that team members have access to information that they need to access. These notes are also linked to certain security roles which determine who can use and see certain case note types. Case note types can be a member, a client, or a group.

To add a new case note type, log on to your CareVision portal. Click on "Settings", then "Case Notes". Create a new case note by clicking the button in the top right-hand corner. Type in the name of the new case note, and you can also choose the colour for that case note. It is better to group like topics for the same colour, for example- designating "red" for all incident reports, "green" for health checks, and so on. You may also include attachments and/or flags concerning the importance of a particular case note.
