CareVision is set to release a major update to support NDIS providers in more accurately tracking billable hours through integrated time logging and case note features. This upgrade aligns with broader reforms under the upcoming Support at Home program, which prioritises accountability and service transparency.

The update introduces the ability to link time logs directly to case notes, allowing planned and unplanned activities to be billable when time is properly recorded. Planned tasks- like assessments and reviews- will sync with calendar bookings, while unplanned care activities logged via case notes will now trigger ad hoc bookings automatically.

Additional features include:

  • Target weekly billable hour settings for staff
  • Automated notifications for unmet targets
  • Dashboards to track hours by funding source
  • Mobile app access for timesheet and log management
  • Billable time flags across activity types (e.g., travel, leave, shifts)
