How to Manage and Report for Lead Sources with CareVision NDIS Software

CareVision NDIS Software provides a way of managing and reporting for lead sources. Lead sources are important because it is an effective way to track where clients came from and how they are acquired.

To put it simply, Lead Sources pertain to the first or initial channel through which a "lead" visited your website or came across your business. Knowing where you get your leads allows you to report on Marketing Spend ROI and know where you can fund more customers with a lower Cost Per Acquisition. Being familiar with Lead Sources equips you with tools for understanding marketing trends and strategising more effectively.

A couple of important terms to understand is the difference between a Lead Source and a Lead Source Medium. They are defined as:

Lead Source: this is the primary channel through which the lead came to your business (ie. website, word-of-mouth, social media)
Medium: this is how each lead source can be segmented or the subcategories of the Lead Source. Mediums are like the tools or channels of the Lead Sources. (ie. Instagram, Facebook, Twitter etc)

In the CareVision platform, you are provided with tools that allow you to easily manage and report for lead sources. Check out the following steps:

1. Log in to your CareVision account
2. Go to "Settings"
3. Select "Lead Sources"

You can easily view the list of lead sources available to the system, as well as the different mediums under each Lead Source- which you can now view, update, and manage.
