Nissan Arena, a $44 million state-of-the-art venue in Brisbane, features a 5000-seat court, changing rooms, and sports medicine facilities for community and elite athletes. It's home to the Suncorp Super Netball team, the Queensland Firebirds, reflecting a significant investment in women's sports by the Queensland government.

Thomson Adsett Architects, in collaboration with builder Hansen Yuncken, focused on sustainability and cost-effectiveness in designing the venue. Safetyline Jalousie supplied nearly 100 louvre windows for the stadium, combining glass and aluminium louvre blades.

These louvres maximize natural cross ventilation and feature a unique horizontal louvre bearer, providing impact resistance and enhanced safety. With an acoustic rating of 33RW, the system mitigates traffic noise intrusion and offers internal sound absorption.

Safetyline Jalousie's Australian-made louvres arrive as complete units, streamlining construction, reducing waste, and ensuring quality. Their selection underscores the system's high acoustic performance, quality, and durability.

With Safetyline Jalousie, Nissan Arena exemplifies innovation and excellence in sports facility design. Discover more about this project at Safetyline Jalousie by visiting safetylinejalousie.com.au.
