New Internal Drive for Automated Windows by Safetyline Jalousie

At Safetyline Jalousie, we are always looking at new ways to improve our product in an effort to meet our client's needs. Just this year, there have been three exciting developments.

First, we introduced our vacuum glazed louvre. At a fraction of the size and cost of double glazing, it provides an attractive solution to improving energy efficiency year round and with all of the same design capabilities as the original JX louvre window.

An aluminium end cap has also been developed for windows being installed in bushfire prone areas. Having all external hardware made from metal means that Safetyline Jalousie louvre windows can now be used for all ratings up to BAL-29 without the protection of external screens or bushfire shutters.

In response to client demand, we have most recently released the TJX3701 internal motor. Designed and developed by Technal, the TJX3701 louvre drive is concealed inside the window frame and is ideal for out of reach locations where no visible operating mechanism is preferred.

When choosing an automated window solution, home and business owners generally prefer the idea of an internal operator but are often deterred because of concerns associated with maintenance and repairs.

With Safetyline Jalousie and the TJX3701, access to the motor is facilitated via a cover plate in the mullion which means there is no need to remove the window should maintenance be required.

Wire or remote control is available with this system as well as the option to operate via smartphone or tablet using Somfy's Mylink App.
