Even in harsh environments, Pyrotek is able to offer acoustic absorbers for outdoor applications. Take for example an airconditioning chiller unit for a 3-storey residential villa in Dubai. The chiller is making a lot of noise and it is not an option to compromise the performance of the air-conditioner. The solution was to use the Reapor® acoustic panels.

To keep the hum and drone that the four large chiller units were making it was contained with four block walls. These walls need to be lined with acoustic absorbers that can also withstand harsh outdoor conditions. The eco-friendly Reapor® acoustic panels fit the bill.

Not only do the Reapor® acoustic panels have a higher sound absorption coefficient but they are designed specifically for challenging environments. The panels look like cut stone and are made from recycled glass turned into small aerated granules. These are then fused together to form a non-combustible, fibre-free, and lightweight panel for indoor and outdoor use.
