Mineral Paints for Commercial Facades from KEIM

KEIM were proud to be specified by the Raffles Hotel in Singapore for the restoration of its facade. Formulated to withstand a tropical climate, KEIM mineral paints are ideal for the longevity of the classic white finish of this historical destination. The colonial hotel was sympathetically renovated over a two year period to cater for today's travellers and an equally discerning coating was required to adhere to current standards.

The restoration of the Raffles Hotel's exterior involved the complete removal of many existing coatings. This was skillfully achieved with use of KEIM's Disperionsentferner (paint stripper). Next, KEIM Royalan was tested in numerous locations to determine white tones under various light conditions. Finally, over a twelve month period, two layers of KEIM Royalan were applied.
