Managing NDIS Client Leaves in CareVision

At some point, your client may need to have their services temporarily suspended. For participants in the NDIS, services can be paused for any duration without impacting their funding. Suspending and managing NDIS client leaves on CareVision is straightforward: simply access the client's profile and click on the "Add Client Leave" button.

A popup window will appear where you can enter the leave details, including the start and end dates and times. Additionally, there are drop-down options for selecting the reason for the leave and a section for comments. The possible reasons for client leave include:

  • Social Leave
  • Respite Leave
  • Hospital Leave
  • Transition Care Leave
  • Others

Home Care Packages differ from NDIS in that there are limits on the number of leave days. For instance, non-NDIS clients may be allowed up to 28 consecutive days for hospital stays.

CareVision offers an efficient way to manage NDIS client leaves through the Client Leave Action Board. This central dashboard displays crucial information, such as historical data on past leaves, and assists in managing current and future client leaves.
