The Supaslat Maxi beam system now has a new acoustic option, Supawood's Supabab black acoustic backing. This solution makes the beams acoustically absorptive with a minimum of installation time.

Up to 0.85NRC is achieved with broad spectrum acoustic and industry leading low frequency absorption. An added bonus is that aesthetics is improved as services above the beams are hidden.

Supaslat Maxi beams are exceptionally light at around 2kg per linear meter and therefore are very easy to handle. This is possible because the beam core is a honeycomb of 100% post-consumer recycled paper waste and then covered with a low formaldehyde outer MDF layer.

The light weight means managing delivery to difficult sites is made simple and the support structure does not have to have specially engineered framing.

Do you need a beam product that is easy to install to save on installation time and money?

Supaslat Maxi beams are supplied cut to length with all visible faces finished. They come in 3 standard depths and lengths up to 3.5m. Joining on site is simple to achieve longer lengths. Due to the construction of the beams they will not warp or twist like solid timber.
