There comes a time when a client needs to suspend their services, this is called Client Leave. When this happens, you can easily learn how to add fee leave treatments for home care package billing on CareVision with ease.

For home care packages, a specified number of days of leave in a year is allowed without impacting funding. For NDIS patients, services can be suspended for any period without affecting their funding.

A person may take their Client Leave for any reason. This can include Transition Care Leave, Hospital Leave, Social Leave, and Residential Respite Leave. However, taking a Client Leave can affect two things:

  • Client fees that a person needs to pay
  • The subsidy amount that the Australian Government pays to the care organisation on their behalf

To add fee leave treatments, you need to go to CareVision's Billing Categories, and then toggle Fee Leave Treatments. You can then add details such as Client Leave Type, Treatment Type, Discount Value, and more.
