The revolutionary new breed of composite J8 electrical and data cable pits are not only made to last longer than ever, they're built to make installation easier, too. The first thing you'll notice is how light the newer material is to transport and manhandle on site. They're made using GRC (glass reinforced concrete) materials that are impervious to corrosion and decay from the elements.

The J8 comes sized up at 1395 x 580 x 900mm and is available with an expansive range of covers to comply with AS3996. The variety of covers includes Class B and Class D machined ductile iron covers and frames for which locking and name plate options are available.

For a decorative finish, EJ makes them available with brass or stainless steel wedged covers. Class A standard metal checker plate covers or Class B composite covers may be more appropriate. Composite covers can be colour customised and even imprinted with utility names for ready identification onsite.
