That's a RAP; The EJ Reconciliation Action Plan

This week, EJ Australia launched their artwork representing their RAP vision and journey to reconciliation. Painted by internationally recognised indigenous artist Chern'ee Sutton, the artwork symbolises EJ's appreciation for the land they now occupy and their ongoing connection with the land's people.

EJ acknowledges this country and its traditional custodians. We pay our respects to the Elders, those who have passed into the dreaming; those here today; those of tomorrow.

We are grateful for the talents of Chern'ee Sutton who has been able to bring the EJ journey to life. Chern'ee Sutton is a proud Aboriginal artist and Kalkadoon woman from the emu foot province around the Mount Isa area in North-West Queensland. Chern'ee finds inspiration from her ancient culture and history and her desire to share that with the rest of the world resonated with the EJ values and goals. May we continue to peacefully walk together in gratitude, respect and kindness in caring for this country and one another.

Since 1883, EJ has been working with local communities around the world and we are proud to once again showcase the 'Social Responsibility' & 'Respect for Others' principles that EJ maintains as core corporate values.

The artwork now hangs proudly in the EJ Brisbane conference hall and will serve as a reminder of the history and culture of the Australian land that EJ is now proud to call its home. Visit www.ejco.com for more details.
